The Master of Education in Literacy Education (ESOL Focus) at The Citadel is designed for PK–12 educators across all content areas who want to strengthen literacy instruction and better support diverse learners. This fully online, 30-credit program blends research-based literacy practices with practical classroom application, equipping teachers to support reading, writing and language development across disciplines. Graduates complete coursework aligned with ESOL certification and the Read2Succeed (R2S) Literacy Teacher Add-On Endorsement, preparing them to meet the growing demand for skilled literacy and language educators in today’s classrooms.
